    Description

The salt crystals were formulated millions of years ago when the primal ocean receded and left behind caverns of purified crystal salt. We bring these crystals to you in a quality certified and handmade ceramic container (made in Hungary). A Polish physician in the 19th Century noted that salt minors seldom had respiratory diseases. Since then Eastern Europe has gained a reputation for its Salt Mines, where many people go for the healing, antibacterial and anti-fungal qualities of the caves salty air. Some people have found that the Aroma Therapipe can be used as a preventative. Many also find that the duration of a cold is lessened with its use. Halo/Speleo Therapy (cave / salt therapy) is not well known in the US. even though it has been used for decades in European countries. This product is 100% natural and has no side affects. WHY BUY THE ORIGINAL THERAPIPE? The salt we use is certified pure crystals from European salt caves famous for their healing powers. Our salt is 20 million years old and formulated for maximum vapor relief. Our container is handmade in Hungary from the highest quality ceramics, and is color coded for each user. There are cheaper knock offs that use older harder salt from the Himalayas that does not circulate through your system nearly as well as ours. The knock off containers are usually of lesser quality. Thousands of people visit European salt caves every year in search of respiratory relief. Nobody goes to Himalayan salt caves for anything. IT'S YOUR HEALTH, BUY THE BEST! Crystal mineral salt is a strong natural antihistamine. The Aroma Therapipe has been registered by the National Product Association. ....read more

I like this product ,yes but I made a wrong decision on to Whom I ordered it from , I would have saved a penny ,if I had ordered it from a different company ,but I would have had to pay shipping , but it would have shipped out the next day and I would have gotten it 8 days sooner ,DRATS . The only reason I ordered it from Amazon is because I like Amazon ,I trust to order from them, but I have a premonition that this may be changing. Terry Merrill

      Didnt work for me
      Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I have allergy triggered asthma. This did not help reduce symptoms or the severity of an asthma attack. I did notice temporarily that it made my chest feel tighter upon waking up in the morning. I stop using this product and just use Zyrtec to manage my symptoms (i dont use albuterol inhalers as it gives me heart palpitations).

I got this salt pipe for my husband who was diagnosed with a respiratory condition due to 9/11. After one week of use he noticed improvement. It’s so easy to use, just like smoking a pipe only with a slight salty after taste. He just uses it for 10 minutes while watching TV four times a week or so. We would recommend trying it for any respiratory condition.

I received this a couple weeks ago. I believe in the healing power of salt. I have been very disappointed in this. It has not helped me at all. I am regularly using it and I can not feel any help.

The container is sealed so you can’t change the salt. Buy one that opens up for cleaning and salt replacement. Also, I would prefer to use pink Himalayan Salt in the pipe and this salt is not Pink Himalayan salt.

Works for my 7 year old girl with asthma.
      Rating:5 out of 5 stars
We tried this product for our 7 year old girl that suffers from asthma. The first 3 weeks we saw little or no results and were going to throw away the pipe. We tried a few more days and she started to sleep all night!! She usually has shortness of breath about at 4 or 5 am. Now after about 5 weeks of using the Therapipe for 10 min.during the day and 10 min. before bedtime she does not have problems at night and very rarely during the day. I also have been giving her ester C (vitamin C 250mg. twice a day) and Carlson’s fish oil daily, for about a year, and her doctor visits are once a year instead of 5 or 6 times a year.

The Original Aroma Therapipe — Hopefully Someone will Experience Relief, Even if I Didn’t
      Rating:4 out of 5 stars
It arrived promptly, packaged well for shipping. Appears to be well-made, and should last a long time. I had hoped for some allergic/respiratory relief from using it. I saw it recommended on a TV medical show. However, I haven’t experienced any improved health benefits from using it. I’m going to continue to use it (per the instructions) in the hopes that I will experience some of the benefits I have been hearing about. I have rated it a 4-star and not lower because it is well made. I don’t want to deter anyone from trying it; what doesn’t help one person may help another. It’s a bit pricey. However, if you truly do experience allergic/respiratory relief from it, it is worth the price.

I’ve had severe asthma since I was 3 and this helps calm my breathing down, but it can take awhile and I can get anxious while breathing through it waiting for myself to calm down.

My wife has seasonal cough every year in the end of the year. I searched the AMAZON and found this product with a pretty good reviews. I ordered this one for wife. She used it. It provided a little relief temperally but did not work as most reviewers’ results. My wife is disappointed.

      The Little Pipe That Could
      Rating:5 out of 5 stars
COPD sufferers have few alternatives to their breathing plights which don’t include a trunk load of side-effects ….. this little inhaler (looks like an albino pinquin) is different, it helps aerate your respiratory system with salt air much the same way one benefits from a walk on the beach (if that is, you felt like taking a walk anywhere other than to the next chair).

Newsflash, based on the daily improvement I’m experienceing with salt-pipe therapy, I feel not just comfortable but obligated to write this review to help ease another person over the “oh, it can’t really work syndrome”…folks like you & me who’ve struggled to breath minute by minute day to day for too long and feel resigned to keeping the status quo for fear of another disappointment…I honestly believe this therapy can help or I wouldn’t endorse it.

No, I am not healed & may never be but that walk on the beach will become a reality in the near future, hope to see you there.

      So very pleased!
      Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Our son’s breathing issues have plagued us for the past 4 years. We were willing to try anything to help him be more comfortable, and ran the gamut with prescribed medications. Chiropractic worked wonders but he still had flare-ups. The we heard about the salt pipe as a means to help with the consistent, uncontrollable cough. We did not know what to expect when we purchased the salt pipe, but since using it consistently for the past several months, we noticed a vast improvement in his seasonal asthma conditions. Now a breathing episode will stop within hours when typically it would have lasted for days, and ended up with steroids needing to control it. We use the salt pipe in conjunction with other simple steps such as having him take extra vitamin supplements. We are thrilled with the results – the salt pipe has basically replaced his inhaler. We never used to consider homeopathic remedies as an option but you can’t ignore what works.

I admit that I had reservations about investing $60 on something so relatively unconventional to treat my asthma and lung infections. Now, I can say only how glad I am that I took the plunge. Within three days of my using the pipe, my lungs were completely clear for the first time in THREE YEARS. Yes, twenty minutes a day can seem like something of a chore when a prescription inhaler takes only a moment to use. All I can say is — make the time! You won’t regret it. I’m planning on purchasing another one to keep in my desk at the office, making using it a lot easier to fit into my schedule (and to have a backup). I’ve been able to stop taking virtually all of my (expensive) meds.

      Amazing!

      Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is indeed a great help if you suffer from respiratory problems. You must use as directed and stick with it. I have had some rather serious problems which have been pretty much put on the “back burner”. I am indeed glad I tried The Original Aroma Therapipe (Salt Pipe). I would tell my best friend to try it.

      husband has COPD and emphysema
      Rating:5 out of 5 stars
My husband has COPD and emphysema from smoking for about 40 years and when I showed him it online he said he wanted to try it. It took a little while because right after he started to use it he got a respiratory problem that took a couple of weeks to get over. But once he was over it, he noticed a very marked improvement in that he is coughing a lot less and coughing up a very small amount of phlegm now. Since the inhaler he has to use would push us into the doughnut hole anything that will help is a great help. This was more than a small improvement for him. He still has to use his inhaler, but a lot less and he feels better since he started to use it.

      Wow- SUCH a relief!
      Rating:5 out of 5 stars
(I have a very similar Himalayan crystal salt inhaler to this one- not this exact one, but I wanted to share my experience)

My mom was bugging for me to try the salt pipe for a while, as I’ve suffered from increased asthma/ respiratory ailments since moving to Los Angeles 8 years ago. I have to admit- I was skeptical, and it seemed a bit too hippy-dippy for it to really be all that effective. However, she finally purchased one for me after my Advair had ceased to help anymore, and my coughing fits were getting worse and more frequent.

All I can say is WOW. I noticed a HUGE improvement within a few days of using it. I had all this gunk come up from my lungs (you do cough up a bit of congestion, but better out than in, right?), and the coughing went away as well. I was surprised at how effective this was- I let it lapse for a week, and my coughing rebounded- started back on it and the coughing went away.

My advair ran out the same time I started the salt pipe, and I haven’t had to refill the prescription since. I’m glad I’ve found a replacement- the advair isn’t cheap, and even though this seems like it’d be a pain to use the pipe for 10-15 minutes a day, you just use it while watching TV or on the internet, and it goes by without you even noticing it.

The only thing is to watch out that you don’t breathe out through your mouth. (you can get the salt wet that way, which makes it less effective)

I would HIGHLY recommend to anybody suffering from respiratory problems from air pollution/ asthma, etc…

      SALTY ALTERNATIVE TO Rx
      Rating:4 out of 5 stars
The Therapipe is an interesting concept. I like it so far, and it encourages me to breathe deeper. We get in such a habit of shallow breathing, that we forget to stop and use our breath for healing. (Yoga philosophy) I like that part (aside from the massive yawning that deeper breathing promotes). Since I started using it 3 weeks ago, I have been breathing free and clear, with only an occasional need for my prescription inhaler. (once per week or so) I’m not sure if I can attibute it entirely to the Therapipe, as I have been seeing a Chinese doctor who has been treating me with various herbs and acupuncture as well. I am both hopeful and skeptical that this thing works. THE CONS: The Therapipe requires that you breathe it for 20 min. per day (which can be broken into 2 sessions). 20 minutes in a busy day can seem like a long time. I’m in my car a lot though and this is a handy place for me to use it. However, I have a little anxiety that a cop could pull me over, as it could easily get mistaken for a bong. On the up side, I suppose I could find another convenient time and place to use it. :o) Also, in the instructions, it says not to remove the little silicone flap that goes over the hole. Well, one day it just fell off and I now have to plug the hole with my finger. Not a big deal though, and very easy and natural to do, as it is made like a flute and the hole is by your finger anyway. The last con is that it isn’t refillable. THE PROS: The Therapipe will theoretically last for 5 years. It’s safe. The salt, should you taste it at all, is pleasant (as opposed to the taste of prescription alternatives). It also has a pleasing shape that is ergonomic and fits naturally and comfortably in your hand. All in all, I think this is a great and potentially miraculous little invention, with the pros outweighing the cons and I 100% recommend giving it a try.

      Avoided Pneumonia
      Rating:5 out of 5 stars
My 4-year-old daughter has very weak lungs, and every respiratory virus turns into pneumonia. She became ill right after her salt pipe arrived, and I had her start using it immediately. Instead of a trip to the emergency room, countless drugs, and a two week stint in bed, she was home sick from school for just one day, and for the first time I can recall in over two years, she appeared to have just a “normal” cold.
